my background

I'm a big-picture thinker who uses design to communicate, whether the product be print, digital, or something more fluid like a concept or activity. I live in Los Angeles, and I hold a BFA in Visual Communication from Washington University. I have also lived in Toledo (OH), New York, St. Louis, Cochin (India), Chicago, and Busan (South Korea). Each one of these places has inspired my work and pushed me to grow.

I have 8 years of experience as a professional designer: 4 in-house (City Winery, Hyatt, Grubhub) and 4 at agencies (both traditional advertising and social media). I love working with startups.
